Malto+ is a supplement based on pure maltodextrin without a sweetener or flavour, with low dextrose equivalent (D.E.12).

The higher the D.E. is, the shorter the glucose chains of maltodextrins are, and the lower the opposite is.

Therefore, maltodextrin with low D.E. release glucose less quickly.

Malto+ also contains a high chemical-physical quality of maltodextrin, very soluble in water and very well tolerated.

This is an indication of maximum bioavailability.

Maltodextrins are oligo carbohydrates consisting of 17-20 glucose molecules, obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis of cornstarch, therefore they are gluten-free.

Maintaining a high availability of sugar in the muscles, both before and during a performance, is essential in almost all sports activities.

Malto+ is the ideal carbohydrate for any type of sport.

It is rapidly absorbed and tolerated in the gastrointestinal tract, thanks to the low osmolarity of the solution, and it is able to supply energy in a constant and gradual way.

The use of Malto+ 1.5 hours before a physical activity, but also during and after it enables greater energy availability, prevents the onset of fatigue, and accelerates the recovery phase.

It is not flavoured due to the fact that flavoured supplements can cause gastrointestinal disorders during endurance sports.

Properties
Malto+ is indicated for all types of sport of short, medium and long duration, as it helps improve the energy yield before and during the activity. 

It is suggested to dissolve 30 g (equal to 1 scoop and a half) in 500 ml of water.

*The Dextrose Equivalent (D.E.) is a value defining the level of hydrolysis to which the starting starch was subjected. In practice, it defines the length of polysaccharide chains, a factor which influences the speed of absorption and use. Malto+ has the value of D.E.12, which makes the product soluble and digestible and able to guarantee a high energy availability for a long period of time.
