Carbohydrates or sugars are the body’s primary and most immediate sources of energy. They serve as daily fuel for the muscles and brain, becoming even more necessary during sports activities.
The human body has a limited supply of carbohydrates and glycogen, which are stored in the muscles and liver. An adult individual typically stores around 400-500 g, which is insufficient for high-intensity exercise lasting more than two hours.
To sustain prolonged physical activity efficiently and prevent fatigue, it is therefore crucial to replenish carbohydrates.
X-Plosiv Gel of 30 ml is a concentrated carbohydrate gel based with varying absorption rates, providing both rapid and long-lasting energy. It contains maltodextrin D.E. 19, fructose and dextrose in a 40:30:30 ratio (the same as in Reisprint), providing energy for short, medium and long durations. X-Plosiv Gel contains about 65% fast-absorbing carbohydrates, as well as magnesium, which enhances energy efficiency during exercise and helps prevent muscle cramps – especially in endurance sports and in cases of intense sweating. A unique ingredient present in X-Plosiv Gel is a special red vine extract, which has strong vasodilatory and antioxidant features that help improve muscle oxygenation during physical exertion.
X-Plosiv Pro Gel of 66 ml provides 40 g of maltodextrin and fructose in a 2:1 ratio. These fast-absorbing simple sugars are ideal for sustaining energy requirements during intense and prolonged physical activity. Scientific studies confirm that consuming a high amount of sugars per hour maximizes muscle performance. To achieve this result, it is crucial to consume glucose and fructose in a 2:1 ratio rather than glucose alone. This 2:1 ratio allows the muscles to absorb up to 90 g of carbohydrates per hour without causing intestinal discomfort. For even higher intake, we recommend Fusion Gel, which contains maltodextrin and fructose in a 1:1 ratio.
Until a few years ago, it was believed that the human body could not absorb more than 60 g/h of carbohydrates in the form of glucose. However, studies have shown that blending different carbohydrate sources enhances performance. In particular, consuming a 2:1 glucose-fructose blend enables absorption of up to 90 g/h, as the organism utilizes two different ways to transport sugars in the intestine. Glucose enters through the GLUT1 transporter, while fructose enters through the GLUT5 transporter.
X-Plosiv Gel and X-Plosiv Pro Gel bypass the stomach quickly and are rapidly absorbed. They have a light aromatic note, which facilitates an improved functional muscle balance.
Another aspect to keep in mind is the timing of carbohydrate consumption during physical activity. Specifically, in the first two hours of intense physical activity, when the glycogen reserve is still rather high, there is a tendency to prefer the 2:1 ratio. Beyond two hours, a 1:1 ratio is preferred, likely due to fatigue and glycogen depletion.

Indications: X-Plosiv Gel is suitable for individuals with high energy demands before and during sports activity, as well as for those who perform intense and prolonged physical activity.
How to use: Take one 30 ml dose 20-30 minutes before exercise or during the exercise. If possible, drink small sips of water afterward, as it improves absorption.
X-Plosiv Pro Gel
Indications: X-Plosiv Pro Gel helps optimize muscle energy response in endurance sports activities lasting up to two hours. Two gels provide 80 g of carbohydrates per hour. To enable a higher dosage, we recommend using Fusion Gel.
How to use: Take up to two gels per hour with a few sips of water during intense and prolonged exercise. Maintain proper hydration, and do not exceed 90 g of carbohydrates per hour.
