● Instant egg white
● Maximal protein efficiency “PER 3.9” | PER = Protein Efficiency Ratio
White Egg is a supplement based on instantized egg white.
After being subjected to a process of filtration, the egg white is spray dried and pasteurised without further chemical processing.
The result is a pure, complete extract reflecting the original food source.
Egg white proteins represent one of the most nutritious sources of protein.
They have a biological value of 100, which is comparable to that of whey protein.
Based on the PER (Protein Efficiency Ratio) criteria, egg white should have the highest value, that is 3.9, as opposed to value 3.2 of whey protein.
The amino acid spectrum of egg white is just as good.
It contains more than double the amount of arginine than whey protein, and it has an excellent amount of aromatic amino acids (phenylalanine, tyrosine).
Due to this, eggs are an extremely valid alternative source of protein in case of intolerance or allergy to any milk constituent.
The digestion times of egg protein are intermediate, between those of casein and and those of whey protein.
However, egg white has high digestibility, equal to 97%.
Egg white and egg yolk proteins have a completely different nature.
Egg white contains large quantities of ovalbumin and smaller quantities of ovotransferrin, ovoglobulin, lysozyme, ovomucin and ovomucoid (the protein responsible for all egg allergies).
From an organoleptic point of view, the way egg white proteins differ from whey proteins is that they have a much saltier taste and are substantially richer in sodium.
White Egg is indicated in case of increased protein requirement, when the dietary intake is insufficient or hardly sustainable. It is particularly suitable for subjects with milk protein intolerance, as it represents an excellent source of protein alternative to milk. Thanks to its positive effects on trophism and muscle efficiency, it is recommended for active people and athletes who wish to stay in shape. It improves muscle flexibility, tone and strength.
Take 20 g per day (equal to approximately 2 level scoops) dissolved in 200 ml of water or other liquid.
